Throughout the situation of Covid-19, security forces are the only group of people that is authorized to enter the area under 2 hours. However, in the area, there are no disabled people at all. Nonetheless, we are looking for the keepers of a white car. If you are the owner of this car please do contact us. As for the person who parks over the area, please notify them as following:

The driver is a beautiful woman, came with her friends. Also, one of her friends gets off the car to guide the parking. Caption and photo provided by one of our members yesterday. This space is carefully provided for disability parking, but it is ruined because of your ignorance. This is a social problem, and everyone should cooperate to fix this.

Not long before you all may have seen a post from us urging of priority parking space that had been trespassed by rental shops in PTT Pongnamron gas station. Shortly after the post was published, the owner has contacted me to apologized and shown her willing to fix the issue.

The incident took place on an accessible parking at Airport Rail Link (ARL) Hua Mak station. The white car was mine, parking on it since early morning. As you see, I tried to park on the left side as close as possible to allow free space. When I returned back to my car, I found this terrible scene. Timeline: 1. After we released the first post, within 7 hours, Kerry Express Thailand contacted me to ask for more detail about the incident. They went back to investigate and issue a warning notice to the misbehaved driver. 2. I requested that Kerry should come up with preventive measurements to minimize this kind of problem from happening again in the future. 3. I often dropped myself to shop at neighboring Makro Srinakarin, a major hypermarket in Thailand. I found its accessible parking was built with accurate engineering standard. The security officers also always kept an eyes on it to protect the rights of PWDs. The supporting elements like signboard was big and outstanding enough to detect. Big thanks to the Makro Srinakarin management team.  

One pothole for accessible parking is that there is yet “legal punishment” to legally penalize the wrongdoers. It just stated ‘who’ is eligible to park on. I always address this issue that if you want to dissolve this problem completely, we must holistically cover it in every aspects; supporting, encouraging, and punishing. I give you one small, obvious example of “No-Smoking-on-public” law.

One of our strong followers sent me this image, taken on last year when he roamed in Japan, of an accessible parking at a shopping mall in Japan. He said excitedly “I shot this scene specifically for you!” Oh my dear, I feel warmed and thankful. This is one my encouragements to keep moving forward.
