Do not be smelly farang

The general opinion would think of people from [developed countries] as well-mannered, courteous, and highly respect rule of law. This is conceivable as their countries’ law punish severely the wrongdoers and are usually enforced to the letters, making people do nothing else but simply obey it. [Thailand] As we know, many Thai laws are not followed to the letters. The law enforcement is too loose. This makes disorder and chaos so prevalent throughout the society.

If only they pay more attention, and park more nicely…

I was waiting there patiently until the car owner’s back. I greeted her and asked politely, “Mam, you park your car on top of the line, making it harder for PWDs getting in and off.” She’s still a decent lady, her hands were up to pay respect to me and apologized for what she did. A moment when a security expels customers out of the elevator

This incident was a story while I was travelling in Japan at the beginning of this year. It took place at Bic Camera, Namba Store in Osaka. Bic Camera is a leading consumer electronics retailer chain in Japan. The store was extremely crowded at the day. Most of them were seemingly foreign visitors. I was waiting for an elevator for so long to go to the upper floor. Due to the crowd, every time the lift opened, it was packed with tons of customers that I wasn’t able to get in it. Believe it or not, I had been waiting …
