This has been a long-standing project, with many discussions among the city officials. Finally, we are moving forward. The weather conditions above residential buildings, looking far into the distance around 5 kilometers, seem to indicate dust and smoke, visible to our eyes. It looks like this all the time and becomes clearer after rain. In the huge city, where people live closely together, this has become quite common. We just want to show it to all of us, make us aware that the problem is caused by us, and it’s up to us to fix it.

Big cities, traffic congestion is one of the main problems, and Bangkok is no exception. When there’s traffic, it’s necessary to efficiently and quickly alleviate the congestion.

Stop by and take a look in front of Chatuchak Park in the evening rush hour. Just spend a few minutes to take a clip and show it to see that it’s simple issue, all we need is to go down there and take care of it. What do we see?

**The picture of the running event is not related to the story written. The latest announcement of a 100-kilometer running event application that I plan to participate in the run when I am ready, I just found out a few days ago. I have been rejected from three running events…

Recently, I have been frequenting this establishment and have had to rely on the staff to assist me with getting in and out every time. The none accessibility has transformed me from a person who has never had to ask for help to someone who now has to wait and request assistance by saying “Excuse me, can you please…”

Several vending machines have become popular in our neighborhood lately, but they were not designed with the concept of “for everyone”. What are the issues with them? 1. The screen is placed too high, causing discomfort and difficulty in viewing. As someone of average height, I can only see and choose products from the bottom row.

Suggestion: 1. All individuals, including students and staff whose physical capabilities may change over time. 2. The physical infrastructure of all schools must provide at least the basic accessibilities law. 3. Additionally, access to the curriculum and teaching methods should be developed in tandem.

Today I met “Khun Boo”, who needs to use an electric wheelchair. It’s not easy for him to take care of himself, from daily activities to go out to work and making a living. Despite the challenges, Khun Boo still helps to report various issues and not just by reporting them. He is also one of the people who support my work financially!

28 Feb 2023 This is the reality of Bangkok and other provinces in Thailand that we’ve faced. Many generations have passed with a good overall development pace, but meanwhile, for people with disabilities and lower physical potential, the “perfect” journey has not yet happened.

[August 9, 2022] Ratchadamri road: From the footpath all the way through the length of the building, approximately 400-meter, there is a series of stairs. Groups of wheelchair users cannot enter the building. Groups of people who travel with wheeled-vehicles don’t include only people with disabilities, but also many others such as families with kids and strollers.

Bang Saen Marathon, my third participation (the fifth overall for marathons), here’s a short note for myself:

We often hear the saying “Don’t build it, it’s not worth it, we don’t see people with disabilities using them…”. Attitudes distorted by this ignorance affect the development of the country and has been occurring continuously for a long time.

One of a lot of trouble-scenes that would like you to see, we found a hotel and a main entrance with has three steps, surely I got a shot and I’d like to tell you a story…

Situation of people with disabilities in Thailand that has been going on for many generations. People with disabilities also have difficulty leaving their homes, public spaces and transportation, buildings and premises are still accessible ‘not good enough’. Let’s think about the school we used to go to every day, and ask yourself: ‘Suppose we have to sit in a wheelchair, we can’t see, or we lost the hearing / how do we go to school?’

Doors, windows, and bathrooms are necessities when building a home. There are forks, spoons, plates, tables, and chairs while we eat. These are the fundamental norms that everybody is aware of and has a natural familiarity with. It’s probably not a thing if it’s missing. But we disregard it, failing to take into account the fact that every person’s body is different and subject to constant change.

I’ve been working on “City Walk” continuously for the past eight years. Started by going to regularly deliver exceptional seminars. I began by doing it with college students from the faculty of architecture and social development. In collaboration with the youth and the network, we steadily widened the area to cooperate till these days.

“City development”, the most significant aspect is to follow the core concepts stated below. 1. For All – taking into account all groups of people 2. Accessibility – Equal access 3. Independently – Everyone has their independent life and is capable of living freely. 4. Inclusivity – We’re all living together The city will then be turned into a city that allows all people to live and develop themselves. This is urban and sustainable human development.

3 years ago we visited the management also released an open letter requesting that the stair lift should be replaced with the real elevator. Last week we went there for dinner, as you see the elevator has already broken. I was going down to MRT Sam-Yan and 4 staffs have to help take me down using the escalator! Besides being inconvenient and dangerous, other issue has to be aware of is that during this coronavirus pandemic “five of us having the distancing risk!!” It’s an usually that people in wheelchairs like me do it as un-usual –confused?
