Three Steps Hotel

Accessibility Is Freedom and Ajarn Renato went running at Lumphini Park, after the brunch we walked along the road to Silom..

Professor Renato, teacher of Inclusive Design/ DBTM – Design, Business & Technology Management, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. Thammasat University, Rangsit campus. We, together have been driving-on the new generation of designers to understand the society and people for many years.

One of a lot of trouble-scenes that would like you to see, we found a hotel and a main entrance with has three steps, surely I got a shot and I’d like to tell you a story…

People who are physically imperfect, unhealthy, we are all have strong mental strength. It is our job to overcome the limitations no problem at all, but the problem is social conditions, attitudes, thoughts towards people who are less-able physical. These have an ongoing impact. make various infrastructure shows as what we see today.

The entrance to the hotel these three steps, I must say, ‘Extremely Disabled’. No doubt against the basic human rights / not only me, a lot of their customer, do not forget they loose their business potential and this is represents problems of all dimensions.

How could we do?…

The concept of exclusion mindset seriously, everyone has problems but for people who are wheelchairs-bound have left behind (human rights).

[Not just a complaining: Let me tell you it’s very easy to get it fixed] The best solution is, get stair replaced, make the walk way make it 100% wide and has good angle of slope, as wide as your hearts goes. (Please fix it ASAP)

I don’t like the word “DISABLED” because infact I-AM-NOT, it is all everything around me.

Bring it on join my force,  tomorrow you will definitely need it…
