In the situation where people around the world have been fighting with the Coronavirus, people feel insecure. So, they have to find something to insure their life. From encouraging to sharing!

“I encourage you!” We often say this when we want to cheer up someone. “I encourage you!” I always heard this word since the day I jumped into this social contribution activity. “I encourage you!” It used to lift me up anytime I receive this word. I continued to receive countless encouragement like this. It came nicely, and it’s gone. At the end, nothing has changed, sadly. Now it’s my turn to encourage you to NOT encouraging anyone anymore. But instead you turn it into helping, sharing, or doing, whatever. I know encouragement is great. It starts with the inner. …

“Society changes when you dare to step forward.”

Days ago I posted on Facebook to ask for a volunteer for field work. This young man, very soon after, sent a message to do the job. He’s a pioneer follower and has been following since that #PriorityParking video about 5 years ago. He read my recent post and wasted no time to made a contact to me. “Reeve” used to have a serious accident affecting almost the whole of his body from the top to the bottom. If you take a notice you would realise that his movement isn’t normal, and his arm isn’t quite healthy. But if you …

Financially Accessible

Accessibility is an increasingly growing concern, not just public transport but also in private properties, communal areas and just about every place. They need to be barrier-free, serving fully accessible for all. But when we use the term “accessible”, we usually mean PHYSICALLY accessible. You have a ramp, provide a lift, and offer priority parking with nice accessible toilet. The list goes on and on. However, in the very context of public transports, physically accessible only is merely enough. It also needs to be FINANCIALLY ACCESSIBLE!

An equal rights to see things like all of you

It’s been so long that I quite convincing myself to get inside a places with difficult access, just because I feel quite annoyed by being helped. I just didn’t want to bother other people and be lifted like an object. So I always ended up giving a pass and just waited outside.

In case of fire, how could PWDs survived?

In case of emergency, natural disaster, or any unexpected hazardous circumstances, how could a person with disability survive in such scenario? A concern I have deeply kept it for so long, and sparked out again due to the recent serious fire on the building in Bangkok two days ago, three people died and many injured. It’s a question I myself could yet give a proper answer. It’s perhaps due to my ignorance, more information is needed to research. Though I knew that there are  numbers of people specifically working in this issue. Generally speaking, there remains plenty rooms for improvement …
