The precious smile, the incredible over expected value

Smile and happiness is priceless. Shot with a foreign family, this image took place on March 2017 when I participated in the press conference on the “BTS’s first four lift delivery date, joined by the Bangkok Governor and his Deputy, and many involved parties. I met this family when the event was over. Priority Parking – the story : ‘just a minute!’

This incident occurred at the very same place, The JAS Urban. I’d done my dinner and about to leave here. At the moment, I accidentally saw a pickup truck, on the picture above, was trying to park on a blank priority parking. They came as a whole family without anyone disabled. A woman was getting off the car. I suddenly opened my window and said “Excuse me, you’re parking on a priority parking”

Priority parking – the story : ‘Parking problem at Suan-luang Rama IX’

Suan-luang Rama IX’ I began to go for exercise more often at Suan-luang RAMA IX, a public park. Surprisingly, what I found was only 4 priority parking lots in total which were separated into 2 zones. Meaning that each zone had only 2 priority parking for PWDs. It’s such a very few lucky times these priority parking would be free of use and thus I could be able to park on it. Basically, I didn’t want to take it seriously, just observing things happening here.

Just a second problemOne of the root causes of the problems and violence in the society today is the lack of public mind. Many people are truly familiar on what is wrongdoing. They unconsciously keep doing that. They also put the excuse that “Because everybody is doing that.” They never question themselves of what they are doing. Is it right or wrong? Thailandis a member of The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, or CRPD. All members need to continuously update and report their progresses regarding the subject. I got an opportunity to involve with the meeting and, surprisingly, acknowledged tremendous efforts of many members to improve PWDs’ standard of living in their countries.
