Vending Machine Problem

Several vending machines have become popular in our neighborhood lately, but they were not designed with the concept of “for everyone”. What are the issues with them?

1. The screen is placed too high, causing discomfort and difficulty in viewing. As someone of average height, I can only see and choose products from the bottom row.
2. It does not cater to visually impaired individuals (touchscreen is not tactile, there is no braille or symbols on buttons for assistance, and there are no audio cues).
3. It cannot adjust the display mode to accommodate people with various vision problems, such as low vision, color blindness, or astigmatism.
4. The lid is heavy and has strong springs, making it difficult for people with weak grip strength to open.

These are just a few issues, and it’s unfortunate that this results in missed opportunities to attract more customers. We will try to contact the manufacturer to assist with the design.
