Celebrating 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station, good time to talk about the problem of the Purple line (again)

June 25, 2016, great time that T4A would meet Mr. Wauttichat Kanlayanamit, Governor of the State Railway of Thailand, to join celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Bangkok Railway Station, or Hua-Lam-phong Station. Mr. Som-kid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, was an opening ceremony chairman.

The event comprised of various exhibitions such as the display of steam engine, 100th market, or many wonderful shows on the stage. After the opening ceremony, we found a chance to get to Mr. Pee-ra-yuth Singpatanakul, Governor of Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, to once more address him about the accessibility issue on MRT Purple line: Bang Yai-Tao Poon.

We had said that, “Sir, there are still many serious accessibility problems on MRT Purple line. Disabled people have found great difficulties in use. We would like you to schedule some time to take a field survey with us altogether sir.” It’s my honor that he listened to us and was welcome for us to send any documents for further collaboration.

We hope that this coming collaboration of field survey at first hand together would make him to be able to visualize and truly understand these ongoing problems.
Please stay in touch.
