A Feedback Letter from Lactasoy has been arrived! Thank You!

We previously issued an open letter to Lactasoy in regard to the misuse of priority parking by one of its driver. And in just a matter of hours, Lactasoy promptly replied us with a very clear and precise argument. I have attached the file so you can review it. In a nutshell it states that “On behalf of the company, the incident is utterly unacceptable and is considered a serious lack of responsibility, conducted by a personal judgment. A Fatal Danger of Stairlift!! (Episode#1)

<On Editing> Anyone who is a regular user of public transports, whether BTS, MRT, or BRT, you might often recognise a mechanical device equipped beside the staircase. New Van… is it accessible to all?

I just recognized the new van which already operated in some routes. From my perspective as seen from the outside, it looked no different than the typical model. I didn’t see a wheelchair logo, hydraulic system, or a low-floor entrance like those new operating bus model. Dear Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Thailand has had a law regarding the requirements of accessible facilities for more than 10 years, this includes in public transport as well. Moreover, the current government policy also regards universal design for all as part of their strategy. These accessible facilities are built for all, and …

“Society changes when you dare to step forward.”

Days ago I posted on Facebook to ask for a volunteer for field work. This young man, very soon after, sent a message to do the job. He’s a pioneer follower and has been following since that #PriorityParking video about 5 years ago. He read my recent post and wasted no time to made a contact to me. “Reeve” used to have a serious accident affecting almost the whole of his body from the top to the bottom. If you take a notice you would realise that his movement isn’t normal, and his arm isn’t quite healthy. But if you …

The Advent of BTS Ramp Plate

When you get off a train, there would normally have a gap between the train and the platform. Despite the gap, some trains stop at an unparalleled degree (different height level) to a platform edge. This gap makes it quite uncomfortable and unsafe, but ordinary passengers can still go through it. However, the case is not true for wheelchair users in particular of those having severe disabilities or having a power wheelchair with substantial weight. This hindrance is too risky and they cannot go through it by themselves.
