SRT’s double track rail, the station platform wasn’t made at the same level. What will affect the passengers?

We heard the news that the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) was building station platforms which were lower than most of new stations and a public transportation system where everyone has equal access is one of our topics that has been followed closely. “If we can transport, we can develop our lives” is the sentence that I always use. I don’t care if it’s high or low, all I want is that everyone can use it conveniently and safely without extra equipment. Reducing the complexity and difficulty during the use are enough.

Asoke Intersection is not the same anymore…

In one of my recent fieldworks, I mentioned to the (city development) team the issues with crosswalk that tarnishes and wears out quickly. Most likely from all the pollutants such as dust and dirt. The amount of traffic and the multiple ongoing construction projects are the likely culprit. So I asked them if they could do something about it and keep the crosswalk clean.

Special guest lecture “Accessibility & Welfare provision in Thailand” – Faculty of Social and Development, international program, at Thammasat Tha Pra Chan University (Year 2/2021)

Due to the Covid-19 situation. It is necessary for us to keep distance by using the remote meeting via zoom in order to lecture the student and prevent ourselves and society from getting a further infection. Initially, I’m quite a bit worried because a good lecture must meet face to face with the student, which we can expressions, feelings and react better, but finally everything went out perfectly.

100K Run At King Rama IX Park 100 (Run For My BD 13 Feb 2022)

This is my first 100K training run. Usually, if I have the time, I tend to practice as close to the target distance as possible in the days leading up to a long run. I gradually increase the distances, such as 11K, 22K, 33K, 44K, and most recently, the previous long run was 66K. I plan meticulously until my body tells me it’s ready.

9 January 2021 “Accessibility Is Freedom” and “Infrastructure Thailand”, as civilian participants, joined with Bangkok Metropolitan Administrator (BMA) spearheaded by its young and visionary spokesman, Khun Earth (Mr. Pongsakorn Kwanmuang). We explored by foots throughout the vibrant Asoke Intersection, the heart and busiest part of this area. The agenda was how to design streets so that people of all ages and physical conditions could make a perfectly safe and convenient crossing.
