Accessibility is a basis of everyone’s life. Although society becomes more diverse and comprises of different groups of people, everyone should have the equal right to access basic facilities (i.e. transportation) to have the opportunity to develop oneself and grow up happily. Saba, a founder of Accessibility Is Freedom, the right and equality activist who believes that we all create our own destiny. Keep fighting and Keep doing will bring us to our dreams.

Since the very beginning that I’ve created this media to encourage Thai society under #SabaLive, there is one thing I still cannot make it, helping the hearing impairment people to reach our work. This problem has been in my mind for a long time. Tomorrow night there will be quite a special SabaLive as it will be the first test for my newest project #LiveAutoCaption (real-time subtitle) and I’d like to invite all of you joining the test and having fun with us! In the situation where people around the world have been fighting with the Coronavirus, people feel insecure. So, they have to find something to insure their life. It might be easy for all of you to do the insurance but not for people with disabilities. I have been hearing about Coronavirus insurance denied people with disabilities to do the insurance for a while but didn’t have a chance to deal with.

Tonight 7pm Bangkok time, we’re going to talk to our friends around the world regarding to the coronavirus situation. We’ve many friends, it will take 2-3 ep, tonight is the first one. Who are our friends for tonight.

In a past few years, we have got contact from Thammasat university, also students who contacted me by them self and professors who asking us to give some special lectures, this year Prof. Han-sa who teaches in ‘UD352-Mega City in the Global South’ also have us a called. “I’m appreciated that professor giving us the opportunity to pass-on our knowledge to the students which is very worth it”, I said that I first met the her.

Hot update: I’m told that the new buses that would pickup the passenger to and from the train station ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE BUSES!!! To the Governor of Bangkok, the spokesman and the director of the Bureau of Traffic and Transport Bangkok, the government policy is an equality and don’t leave anyone behind that we’re all need to aware of. Please use the the accessible buses as standard on all public transport systems.

After file a complaint about Skywalk and the stairway to the building, the chairman of the commission of Thai Senate introduced us to the former governor of SRT. I got a chance to report the problem of the Southern Line platform construction’s platform high that will lower than the other lines. He promised to ask and talk in detail, I then asked to shake hand as a promise ^^

Today, T4A file a complaint to the Senate about the issue of Skywalk and the stairway to the building. Mr Wan-lop Tang-ka-na-nu-rak Chairman of the Commission acknowledged and prepared to continue to help drive the resolution to occur in concrete.
