Microsoft YouthSparkis a community project from Microsoft (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and its partners that has been running for 5 years. Recently, we had a wonderful opportunity for the 2nd time to engage its grand opening day. As a senior, if you like, I couldn’t miss this chance to visit and have a cheer talks at firsthand with this great young generation. It was also my pleasure to have a conversation for the 1st time with Mr.Dha-na-wat Su-thum-pun, Managing Director at Microsoft (Thailand).

We have intensely moved on the right way, since before the beginning of this year, under a project, SabaMedia. During the past two months, we have worked so hard and gained valuable experiences, though with limitations. We are ambitious to keep the channel in constant improvement with our best effort. BTS Sam-rong Station Bangkok, Thailand. BTS Sam-rong station, the metro electric train has just recently opened for service. After 3 years of intensive collaboration a group of activists had provided to authorities who were in charge of this project. I’m going to have a deliberate look on it with firsthand experience. To see whether is there any improved accessibility comparing to the old layout & design.

After the Administrative Court has ordered in one year timeframe of providing of accessible infrastructure on all 23 BTS stations. Three years has passed and the project is still unfinished with numerous spots found inaccessible.

Bangkok, Thailand: Soon after the Administrative Court has issued the order: To completion within a year the installation of elevators and all accessible facilities constructed strictly by law, on all connections from the ground up to the platform floor of the BTS stations.

Family quality, live being, economic and society. Environment that surround can effect directly to all human development. The development of PWD are a lot more tough than other people. But the problem can be less if people in society really can truly see the value and important of one live. And willing to give equality chance as much as possible. I met this family when the event was over. “A work contributing to the help of PWDs is essentially requisite since the disabled demands no impaired but pursue for self-reliance. If we fail to enable them to rely on their own life and the economy of their family, they and the publics would suffer from an incurring trouble. Hence, the policy is to enable them to help themselves for the sake of the benefits of the society.”

People with disabilities, PWDs, do not want to rely on others. We just want to live a normal and happy life. We don’t necessarily want to ask for help. Difference in physical condition is commonly normal as everybody is created as unique as they are.
