Our 2nd Time at the Grand Opening of Microsoft YouthSpark Project, Thank You Everyone from All Parties.

Microsoft
YouthSpark
is a community project from Microsoft (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and its partners that has been running for 5 years. Recently, we had a wonderful opportunity for the 2nd time to engage its grand opening day. As a senior, if you like, I couldn’t miss this chance to visit and have a cheer talks at firsthand with this great young generation. It was also my pleasure to have a conversation for the 1st time with Mr.Dha-na-wat Su-thum-pun, Managing Director at Microsoft (Thailand). I just got to know that he had a high intention for social contribution as one of his family member is having a physical illness with difficult situation to overcome. Another great man I had a chance to talk with was Mr. Desarack Teso, Senior Executives at Microsoft (Thailand). He used to be an underprivileged immigrant.

I had a sense that life situation from their backgrounds taught them some valuable things and thus, reflected positively on how they ran their company. I’m so delighted to see that these top executives from global organization value how important social contribution truly is.

The physical difference is not uncommon; fatty, skinny, tall, short, white, black. We are all created differently. That’s what defines us and make us as us. PWD – people with disabilities is just one of that difference, only the thing that they might have an inferior physical ability or other physical difficulties, that makes it hard to optimize their own potentials which results in less competitive than others.

Besides great amount of ambition, these kids also need “opportunity” to unlock their hidden potentials, to be able to walk by their owns. Who knows? A seemingly little opportunity might inspire and give them a life-changing situation. I believe that this is one of the most sustainable solutions. Fortunately, I got to know that this year they had a chance to perform a role of the trainer to go on and on inspiring others.

I would like to take this opportunity to deliver my appreciation to Microsoft Thailand and all executives, ChangeFusion, Deputy of Secret of Ministry of Digital Economy and Society on behalf of the government, and father and The Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities and team.
I wish that we, as a network community for social contribution, will move forward altogether to support the next generations for our better society!
