The motorcycle runs over the footpath we see on every single day. We feel nothing, they’re all doing this all over our city. No need the road they use the footpath as a shortcut. All everybody is having trouble while we’re walking and wheeling. No one will but ours, to make the better city. Do you feel any shame ??

BTSSince its operation, wheelchair elevators have been installed only in a few stations. There are much more left to complete. Anyway, this is not the main topic today because I’m highlighting on its design layout which appears to be go-through functionality. Passenger from the basement can get into it and go directly through the platform floor without having to buy a train ticket.

The BTS first 4 ElevatorsAfter opening ceremony with Governor of Bangkok and his team, I went to test this brand-new BTS’s elevator. Accidentally, I met a foreign family with a baby in stroller at the platform floor so we had some conversation then. I told them that today was the first day for the lift’s operation. They were so friendly and I didn’t forget to take a picture with them. Their smiles were beautiful and I wanted to share it with all of you.

During Sunday afternoon at Mega Bang-na, a huge department store near my home. I often visit here to have a walk and explore some interesting things. At this time, there was so crowded with people. What I had seen was very impressive and touched my heart. There were many diverse groups of families having a tour here on wheelchairs. Some had grandma accompanying by her lovely granddaughter. The grandma seemed to be very enjoying having a fresh look at surroundings and having a good time with her loved one. Some needed a stick to step ahead. Some rode a baby stroller …

S Guard The project will install a new barrier designed purposely to prevent motorcycle driver to proceed on the pedestrian’s footpath, while pedestrian still can be able to pass the barrier. I added my opinion that they’re not solving this problem at the roots, but the consequences. Even if the barrier has successfully been installed, motorcycle drivers still could find another way to drive on the footpath, or even disassemble it. Which would be a seriously criminal offence case.

Seacon Srinakarindra One of the best ranking on the accessible facilities on our board since for a long time. I went there 2 days ago, at the new car park building lower floor there were cars were fully parked. I went up to the higher floor to find a free space. Since from the beginning, I’ve never touched the one are doing fine instead I always cheering up them. I saw they’re been doing a very good job, provided a very good priority parking and facilities.

During the past weekend, we went to “Discovery Thailand” event for two days. On the 1st day, I met a mother with her lovely daughter. I was going to have a conservation with them, but recognized that they were very busy on selling their stuff, and there was so crowed of people so I didn’t get in to interrupt. Finally on the 2nd day, we met them again and my girlfriend wanted to support them, so she purchased a nice bag.

Just a second problemOne of the root causes of the problems and violence in the society today is the lack of public mind. Many people are truly familiar on what is wrongdoing. They unconsciously keep doing that. They also put the excuse that “Because everybody is doing that.” They never question themselves of what they are doing. Is it right or wrong? Appropriate or inappropriate? This failed attitude finally leads to the priority parking problem. If we are not giving our hands to help solving this problem, or any problems, as a citizen, who else does? I’m going to give a …
