PWD with air traveling problem: flying back from Singapore by Air Asia, I was charged almost 500 Baht for wheelchair services.

I just found it, let me post it just in case might I lose it again.

While was leaving from Changi Airport, Singapore back to Bangkok.
At the check in point, the staff told me very clearly that I had to pay for 20 SGD for the wheelchair service. (Singaporean Dollars, approximately 500 Baht)
Since I was traveling abroad after asking again to confirmed, so then I also asked for an invoice.

I have to pay for preparing the cabin wheelchair (as in the picture).
At the airplane gate, I transfer myself onto cabin wheelchair
then the staff help pushing the chair to the airplane seat (because the pathway on the plane is quiet narrow).
The distance was approximately 3-4 meters.

When I arrived at the Don-Muang Airport, I asked to talked to the Customer Relations Manager.
Have not yet follow up since then.

The person with disabilities facing a lot of problem, including the air traveling.
Our wheelchair friends telling us about incidences like this case, and now I’m experienced the problem by myself.

I do read the aviation laws either Thailand and some other major countries.
No one allow that pwd will be charged from the basic service needed.
I do believe, this is effecting to the basic of human rights.

When I do traveling, I’m always testing just like this case.
However, we still have not taken any action yet.
Just wait for the right time, we will get this problem moved.
