You and I, we are not different…

Days before, I had a plan to get into the city centre. The followings are the demonstration of what I could have done;

1. Brunch at home
2. Attempting to take three public transportations: ARL, MRT Blue Line, and BTS (free ride for Thai PWDs)
3. Having a talk over a cup of coffee at Starbucks, Gaysorn Village (I was offered a free drink)
4. Having a fine dining, a fabulous local steakhouse, at MBK Center (almost 1,000 Baht)
5. Before investigating elevators, slope, and its holistic management at MBK Center
6. Buying some stuffs at Fortune Tower (just some wheelchair maintenance, just few hundred Baht.)
7. Before finally conducting a household shopping at Foodlands, Srinakarin (around 700 Baht)

These are just some examples. They are unveiled to demonstrate that PWDs like me could have a decent lifestyle and significant purchasing power like normal people if there are inclusive public transportation system that allows them to freely and safely travel anywhere.
By achieving that, we could have a meaningful contribution to the economy by our spending.
This inclusiveness and coverage of public transportation is the priority that needs to be done very first.

We are not different…
