August 3, 2023 Visited Nakhon Ratchasima Railway Station for the first time. Inspected the conditions of #Walkways (station access), #AccessibleParking, #Ramps, #BuildingAccess, #Platforms, #PedestrianCrossings, and #AccessibleRestrooms as shown. Awaiting improvements in the double-track railway project.  

February 23, 2023 As representatives of T4A, we had the opportunity to join the Social and Enterprise Development Commission for Children, Youth, Women, the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities, and the National Legislative Assembly (NLA), with Mr. Monthian Buntan as the chairman, to follow up on the development projects in Chiang Rai province.

Since we have been working on this issue, we have been raising messages out loud, management is very concerned and finally have met to talk. October 3, 2022, to me, this is another historic day, where a workman together talk. Here’s a summary.

We heard the news that the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) was building station platforms which were lower than most of new stations and a public transportation system where everyone has equal access is one of our topics that has been followed closely. “If we can transport, we can develop our lives” is the sentence that I always use. I don’t care if it’s high or low, all I want is that everyone can use it conveniently and safely without extra equipment. Reducing the complexity and difficulty during the use are enough.

According to the image, I have just received the latest news from our associate group. I am glad that “at least” we have some positive news. Anyway, I told them not to be happy yet. We have to wait until it’s all done, make a full trial and proceed with the follow up work closely. This topic will be presented to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and the Transport Minister as information of problem solving and protection for the entire system.

After file a complaint about Skywalk and the stairway to the building, the chairman of the commission of Thai Senate introduced us to the former governor of SRT. I got a chance to report the problem of the Southern Line platform construction’s platform high that will lower than the other lines. He promised to ask and talk in detail, I then asked to shake hand as a promise ^^
