Priority Parking at Central Festival Pattaya Beach, let’s see for any improvement since from the last 2 years.

Last Saturday I had a plan with my friends here so I took this opportunity to survey its priority parking, as you might know I always held the principle of time optimization, lol. It had been 2 years since the last time that my video clip went viral powerfully as well as having a chance to address this serious issue to its management team face-to-face. Let’s see some changes!

 

From my observation:

1. Service
   On the 2nd floor, there were fixed security guards who were trained specifically to accommodate all drivers. Although, practically, they were unable to entirely prevent ineligible persons to park on the priority parking, having them reduced this possibility greatly.
2. The Location
   There were 2priority parking next to the entrance on the 2nd floor while the priority parking, with ordinary space and width, were located on the opposite. I was quite confused about its condition so I asked a security guard. He told that someone demanding to park on priority parking would be seriously checked for eligibility. This eligibility typically meant you were PWD. For priority parking, it would be applied to those less in need such as parent and child, as seen on the pictogram.
3. The Sign
   Normally, there were found of misuse of language on signboard like a word “Handicap” which, internationally, should be avoided (talk about this issue later). It seemed that they still used an out-of-date signs. However, some were already good words like “Priority Parking.”
4. The Quantity
   I didn’t make an investigation. Though, I would probably address this subject to the management later. I guarantee you guys that I’ll push this issue to urgency and set it as the new standard for “every Central department store”, according to the ministerial regulations. Some businesses are seizing the opportunity for their own sakes by relying on gaps in the law, which generally are selfish purposes. Even the government sector jumps into this greedy stream which ultimately pulls back any feasible developments so bad. However, I have a strong belief that CPN, a leading and reliable private sector, would pull themselves out from those bad list, Cheer!.
