yamaAfter the charming cities of Osaka and Kyoto had delivered the finest fulfillment to my memory, I said goodbye to them and headed to experience Takayama’s Festival which is held in Takayama City. It’s considered one of Japan’s best festivals. Anyway, to be honest, going to this city took so much of our time as it’s quite a bit distant. How far? Just 9 hours by train!! I needed to take both ordinary train and the Shinkansen, the bullet train, in order to get there. But I did so because I really wanted to see it at firsthand, once in a lifetime.
We stayed in Takayama for 2 days. After experiencing this charming and historic festival, we had a brake at Nakabashi Bridge where we met this lovely family. They came here as a couple to travel and also learn some cultures and histories. We had a great talk about so many things, including the issue of ROHO seat. Then, we had a picture together. Unfortunately, I couldn’t remember their names, my bad. Hoping that they would come along and catch me up here on this Page.
