[Google Map said “the station is accessible”]
Google
Map
We’ve seen they added the accessibility information for a while now.
This is the most wanted feature for wheelchair travelers.

Accessibility Is Freedom works as a committee member of T4A (Transportation For All)
And we have been closely working with the Bangkok City and the government sector.
We have been keep eyes on the public transportation mega projects for years and we have a lot of information on hands.

We’ve compared on some of BTS station accessibility data over on Google Map.
And we found that the most the information is not accurate,
such as Sa-pan Tak-sin BTS station / Google Map checked as “Is Accessible” but the fact “IS NOT” (As the attached album below).
As well as other stations like Na-Na, Promp-Pong, Ak-ka-mai, Thong-Lor and Pra-ka-nong and so on.

Wrong information could cause trouble to the people who need basic accessibility for their travels.
And I’m sure that Google would take this case seriously and we will contact them ASAP to provide the correct information.
To make Google Map is truly for everyone.
