On the survey undertaken on 27 November I found that the elevator between the MRT Samyan ticket office floor and the underpass leading to Samyan Mitrtown Mall is exceptionally small. I’m in my 60cm-wide wheelchair and when in the elevator there was hardly any room left. I doubt that an elevator of this size could possibly serve passengers in electric wheelchairs or with double strollers.

This incident was a story while I was travelling in Japan at the beginning of this year. It took place at Bic Camera, Namba Store in Osaka. Bic Camera is a leading consumer electronics retailer chain in Japan. The store was extremely crowded at the day. Most of them were seemingly foreign visitors. Fortune Town I have to say that disable lift is essentially an useful accessible facility that I have been waiting for long time for it to be installed here. Previously, when people with special needs want to get access to the connected MRT subway, they must take a very detour to pass on a slope in order to get to it. Approximately, the total distance is about 300 meters which is greatly far, totally uncomfortable, and time-consuming, especially if you are on a wheelchair.
