Accessibility Is FreedomAs we are represented to be a coordinator as well as a group of social activists who has monitored, now mainly, the construction of BTS’s disabled elevator for a year. Today we are heading to the Bangkok’s Civil Court to address this late non-fixed issue of the elevator. We are proud to give vital contribution as a supporter and to tell our society the cold fact. The motorcycle runs on the footpath is the one of our city problem that we see everyday. The problem effecting to either our safety as well as our city outlook. The law has already clear defined but the responsibility and the rule administration are low. I went out to do the survey on the footpath at Soi A-soke(Su-khum-vit 21), it is the business center of Bangkok.

I’ve reported to the sources since yesterday, and today finally the wrong data were been completely removed. This is fast! Our next step is to provide the right information to them, thank you Google Map. CHEER!!

JAS Urban SrinakarinA new fabulous community mall in Srinakarin area has been completed and now opened for full service. This place is very close to my home as I drove by almost everyday. It’s such an impressive feeling that I saw its progress from the ground years ago until fully finished. So I managed my time to have a look. After exploring the overall of the mall, I had to delivery my compliment to its management team as its accessibility was systemically in top-notch level. Let’s take a look on the following;

“You’re helping us and you get nothing…” A voice from the Thammasat University law students, year 2016 that I had the opportunity to work with. This is the second time that we are meeting to make an appeal at the Traffic and Transportation Department of Bangkok City (TTD) for the construction of skywalk so that it’s accessible to everyone.

There is sometimes I need to use a restroom when I take a ride on MRT blueline. I have been traveling by using the metro train for very long ago. Just like you, there are some times I need to use a restroom in urgency. Well, but the disabled restroom is always closed while the rest are all open freely. There is always a sign stating that “Out of service. Sorry for any inconveniences.” I don’t know what is the logic behind this but it’s such an incredibly wrongdoing. It should be all open all the time during service hours.    

Central Grand Rama IX I went there since last Thursday. The image was taken place on the 3rd floor during its closing time, not during the day. I asked security guards about any abuses of disabled parking. They replied that most of the time were quite empty. Almost no one illegally parked on it, only just sometimes which the security guard would definitely immediately check. This answer made me feel so delightful.
